The technology

Radiofrequency. Precise. Cosmetic. Quiet.

A fine radiofrequency probe — about the diameter of a sewing needle — gently vaporizes the targeted tissue with controlled radio waves. The surrounding skin is untouched. There's no cutting, no stitching, and the entire spot is sealed by the end of the session.

The technique was developed in European aesthetic medicine and has been refined for nearly forty years. We use it for cosmetically benign moles, skin tags, milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, and small pigmented lesions — every removal preceded by a careful in-person screening.

A note on safety If a mole shows any clinical sign that warrants medical evaluation — asymmetry, irregular borders, color change, growth, or recent itching — we'll tell you at consultation and refer you to a dermatologist before we touch anything. We remove what's cosmetic. We send out what isn't.

What we treat

Six common cosmetic imperfections.

Each of these we remove regularly, comfortably, with a long history of clean results. Final assessment always happens in person at your first visit.

Cosmetic moles

Small, raised, benign moles — the kind you've noticed for years on your face, neck, or body. Cleared in a single session, with the smallest possible footprint left behind.

Most common

Skin tags

Soft, pedunculated growths most often found on the neck, underarms, or eyelids. Removed in seconds. Usually no scab — the area just closes and goes quiet.

Fast, clean

Milia

Tiny white cysts that look like trapped pearls under the skin — most often around the eyes and cheeks. The radiofrequency releases the cyst contents without breaking the surface.

Around the eyes

Sebaceous hyperplasia

Small, yellowish, slightly indented bumps — clusters of oil glands that become visible with age. Smoothed in one session, often invisible afterwards.

Mature skin

Cherry angiomas

Small bright-red dots from clusters of fine blood vessels at the surface — commonly on the chest, abdomen, or arms. Removed cleanly, usually without any visible trace.

Red dots

Small pigmented spots

Cosmetic age spots, freckles, and benign superficial pigmentation that doesn't respond to peels or topicals. Removed at the source. Larger or suspicious pigment goes to a dermatologist first.

Surface pigment

The session

Four steps, forty-five minutes.

Each visit follows the same protocol — careful screening, comfortable removal, and a clear aftercare plan you take home.

i.

In-person screening

Every spot is examined carefully. We map what we'll remove, flag anything that should see a dermatologist first, and answer your questions before anyone touches your skin.

ii.

Topical numbing

A topical anesthetic is applied to the area and given time to work. By the time the radiofrequency starts, you'll feel only mild pressure, not pain. Most clients are pleasantly surprised.

iii.

The removal

5 to 15 minutes per spot. The radiofrequency probe gently vaporizes the tissue and simultaneously seals the area. No bleeding, no bandage required for most spots, no stitches at any size we treat.

iv.

Aftercare plan

A small kit goes home with you — healing balm, SPF, and a simple printed schedule. We explain exactly what to do each day. The healing timeline below walks you through every stage.

Your healing timeline

From day one to fully healed.

The biggest question every client asks: what will my skin look like during healing? Tap any day below to see exactly what to expect — and what to do.

Tap any day

Day 1

Right after — sealed and quiet.

A tiny scab forms immediately, sealing the area like a natural bandage. Mild redness around the spot, no real pain — most clients describe it as a faint sunburn at most. You can return to work the same day.

Do

  • Keep the area dry for the first 24 hours
  • Apply the healing balm twice a day
  • Sleep normally — no special positioning needed

Avoid

  • Wetting the area in the shower
  • Makeup directly on the spot
  • Touching or picking at the scab
Day 3

The scab settles in.

The scab has darkened and hardened into a tight little protective shell. The redness around it is fading. The area no longer feels tender — most clients forget it's there. You can shower normally now, just gently.

Do

  • Resume normal showering (gentle, no scrubbing)
  • Continue healing balm twice daily
  • Apply SPF if the area will see sun

Avoid

  • Saunas, steam rooms, and hot soaks
  • Heavy sweating in direct sun
  • Exfoliating products on the area
Day 7

The scab begins to release.

About a week in, the scab starts loosening at the edges and may detach on its own — usually in the shower, usually without you noticing. Fresh new skin is forming underneath. About half-healed. Slight itching is normal — resist scratching.

Do

  • Let the scab fall off on its own
  • Start daily SPF 50 on the spot
  • Light makeup over the area is now fine

Avoid

  • Picking or scratching — even if it itches
  • Strong actives (retinol, AHA) on the spot
  • Tanning beds and prolonged sun exposure
Day 14

Pink skin and visible result.

The scab is gone, and what's underneath is fresh pink skin — slightly tender, slightly lighter than the surrounding tone. About 80% healed. The spot you came in for is gone. Now we're just waiting for the new skin to match the rest of your tone.

Do

  • Keep applying SPF 50 religiously
  • Reintroduce your normal skincare routine
  • Stay hydrated to speed final healing

Avoid

  • Direct sun without SPF — even brief exposure
  • Harsh exfoliants on the new skin yet
  • Worrying about the pink — it fades naturally
Day 30

Tone evens out — fully healed.

By the end of the first month, the new skin has matched the surrounding tone and the area is essentially indistinguishable. Some clients keep a faint pink shadow for another month or two that fully fades — SPF is the main reason we trust the long-term result.

Do

  • Continue daily SPF for the next 3 months
  • Send us a photo — we keep a record
  • Book your next spot if there were more

Avoid

  • Skipping SPF for the next 90 days
  • Aggressive tanning of the treated area
  • Comparing your healing to anyone else's

Honest screening

We remove what's cosmetic. We refer what isn't.

Cosmetic removal is a privilege, not a right. Every visit begins with a careful, honest assessment. Here's the line we hold.

We can remove

  • Small benign moles, raised or flat, stable for years
  • Skin tags on neck, underarms, eyelids, body
  • Milia, sebaceous hyperplasia, cherry angiomas
  • Small superficial pigmented spots and freckles
  • Stable lesions that haven't changed in years
  • Anything cosmetic you've simply wanted gone

See a dermatologist first if

  • The mole is asymmetric or has irregular borders
  • It has multiple colors or has changed color recently
  • It's larger than a pencil eraser, or has grown
  • It itches, bleeds, or feels different than before
  • You have a personal or family history of skin cancer
  • You're unsure — we'd rather refer than be wrong

Frequently asked

Before you book.

No. A topical anesthetic is applied first and given time to work. By the time the radiofrequency starts you'll feel mild warmth or pressure, but not pain. Most clients are surprised by how comfortable the session is — and how fast it goes.
In the vast majority of cases — no visible scar. Radiofrequency removal is far gentler than scalpel excision: no cutting, no stitching, no pulling of the skin. A small percentage of clients see a faint lighter or pinker mark that fades within 2–6 months with diligent SPF. Bigger moles in tension-prone areas (back, shoulders) carry the highest risk and we discuss that honestly at consultation.
Rarely. Most cosmetic moles, skin tags, and milia we treat don't return. A small percentage — particularly larger or deeper moles — can show partial regrowth at 6–12 months, in which case a quick touch-up visit completes the removal. We tell you the realistic probability for your specific spot at consultation.
Typically up to 5–8 spots in a single session, depending on size and location. For more, we sometimes split into two visits a few weeks apart so the healing on the first set is well underway before we work on the next. We'll talk through the plan at consultation.
Yes — facial spots are actually some of the most rewarding to treat. The face heals fast and the cosmetic stakes are highest. Around the eyes and on the eyelids we work especially conservatively. We can do upper lip, chin, cheeks, forehead, sides of the nose, and most areas of the face safely.
We refuse cosmetic removal of anything we think should see a dermatologist first. If your spot shows any clinical red flag, we'll explain why, send you with a referral, and you can come back to us after the spot is cleared by a doctor. This isn't being cautious — it's the rule. Skin cancer is too important to take risks with.
Almost nothing. Come with clean skin, no makeup on the area, and the spot uncovered. If you take blood thinners, mention it at booking. Avoid alcohol the night before — it can mildly increase post-treatment redness. After the session, bring a hat or scarf if the spot is on your face and you'd prefer to leave covered.
